Prof Chin will talk about creation of organisms which synthesise the proteins with unnatural amino acids, and new ‘orthogonal’ cell machinery to reinvent molecular biology. He will discuss the application of incorporating unnatural amino acids into proteins for studying and regulating diverse biological processes, particularly the post-translational modification. The Old Combination Room can be reached from the Great Gate by walking diagonally across the court into the hall, turning left and going upstairs. See you there!
