A talk by Professor Yasir Suleiman Malley, CBE , Acting President and Provost of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and former Director of the Centre of Islamic Studies at FAMES , His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Sa’id Professor of Modern Arabic Studies and Fellow of Kings College. Professor Suleiman Malley’s talk will show how book titles, as paratexts constitute an arena for articulating Arabic language idealogy and Arab anxiety about Arabic.
