If you have a question about this talk, please contact Kate Harris. Are you a neuroscience student or recent graduate? Have you been wondering what kind of job you could do after your degree? Or are you torn between academia and industry and wondering about the advantages and disadvantages of each? There are a multitude of exciting careers available to neuroscience graduates! CamBRAIN is holding an evening to hear from a range of professionals who have a neuroscience background and are now experts in a variety of different fields. We will hear talks from: -Anne-laura van harmelen (Cambridge University) – Principal investigator -Sally Jennings (Cambridge cognition) – Science Communications Officer -Bill Budenberg (Tracksys Ltd and Zantiks) – Start-up founder -Anne Cooke (BNA) – Chief Executive -Yoshiro Shiba (Shionogi) – Global innovation assistant in drug discovery -Muzaffer Kaser (Cambridge University) – Lecturer in psychiatry/NHS psychiatrist The talks will be followed by a speed networking session where you will have the chance to talk to the speakers and ask them specific questions.
