Talks and other activities covering all aspects of natural history, including botany, conservation, ecology, entomology, geology, palaeontology, zoology etc. See web page https://www.cnhs.org.uk/ for full details, and additional activities not listed here (we have excursions, field-trips, etc. in summer instead of talks). Talks this Autumn (2024) are a mix of online by Zoom, starting punctually at 7:30 pm, and in-person starting at 6.45pm. In-person talks are currently free to all. Regarding Zoom, your video and audio will be off when you join in order to give maximum bandwidth to the speaker. At the end of the talk chat will be enabled to ask questions, or you can raise your virtual hand. Talks may be recorded and if so, CNHS members who cannot join the event (or who wish to watch it again) will be sent a link to allow them to view it at their leisure. If you have a question about this list, please contact: Jon Shanklin; Simon Mentha; events; president.
