Dr Boze Hancock is the Marine Restoration Scientist for the Global Marine Team at The Nature Conservancy, with over 25 years of experience in marine conservation and management. Boze will provide a brief introduction into the current state of the marine environment, and some of the ground breaking work that is being undertaken by The Nature Conservancy to counter these trends. Such efforts require continued proof-of-concept scale projects as well as scaling up the application of many of the techniques developed in recent years. This talk will provide insights into the practicalities of marine conservation, as well as insights into what can be achieved through providing vision.
