ADIW04 - Anti-Diffusion in Multiphase and Active Flows From microbes to mammals, living organisms grow, compete, and kill for resources, causing their populations to segregate strongly from antagonistic interactions. But how does motion disrupt this spatial organization, either due to active swimming motility or a dynamical environment like the turbulent ocean? I will discuss recent results on the dynamics of reproducing and nonreciprocally interacting organisms with active and driven movement and highlight some implications for biology.
