Rosemary Fricker from Cambridge University Botanic Garden will talk about her work to establish a phenology research project at CUBG with garden volunteers. They aim to record the seasonal changes in key groups of trees at CUBG , to monitor any changes in the timing of events such as flowering or leaf loss, and to explore any effects of climate change. Rose will describe the challenges of setting up this type of research and share some of the early findings from the project.
