This talk summarises some of the work that is being carried out in the Computation, Cognition and Language Group at RCEAL . The talk, delivered by several staff and research students from the department, focuses on aspects of “complexity”, a notion which has numerous definitions in the literature. We provide an overview and then discuss how measures of complexity derived from computational methods may be applied to cognitive experiments in psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics.

This talk is part of the RCEAL Tuesday Colloquia series.
