Bethany Kiamil, the RSPB ’s Conservation Officer for Cambs / Beds / Herts, will talk about Operation Turtle Dove and how this fits into the RSPB ’s wider conservation work in the area. East Anglia is still a stronghold for this once widespread, but now fast-declining, species and here in Cambridgeshire we work with fantastic landowners to provide the right habitats for this species to thrive, so future generations can enjoy its gentle purring in summer.
