LINGUISTIC FIELDWORK TRAINING : as part of the AHRC graduate training programme a series of seminars will be held at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies in the week 10 -14 March, 2008 on the techniques of carrying out linguistic fieldwork. A native speaker of neo-Aramaic has been invited to be the ‘informant’ for this course. If anybody is interested in attending, please contact Geoffrey Khan (gk101@cam.ac.uk).
