Physics of Living Matter Part III course (PLM)

Add to your list(s) Send you e-mail reminders

This course is intended to be an informal course aimed at physicists, engineers and biologists who are interested in physical concepts, approaches, and techniques relevant to biological systems. It will highlight the captivating questions arising at this interface between the inanimate and the living world and give some guidance to the answers rather than rigidly presenting solutions. Given the fast pace with which the field is advancing its boundaries, the generation of interest and fascination in this topic is paramount – not the indoctrination with preconceived ideas and facts. In this way, it sensitizes the students to the world of real research and opens their horizon to the uncharted regions, challenges, and possibilities that lie ahead of them.
