The Windows Presentation Foundation is a new feature of Microsoft’s .NET Framework version 3.0 and introduces a number of innovations for the Windows GUI designer. XAML is an XML -based description languages with full, and for the first time bi-directional, integration with Visual Studio. The Windows Presentation Foundation provided mac-like 2D/3D rendering for GUI components, including animations and video.
