If you have a question about this talk, please contact Charlotte Askew. To gain insight in the porcine specific aspects of the type I interferon response, RNAseq was performed using interferon treated cells. Among the transcripts upregulated upon interferon stimulation, the long noncoding RNA designated lncRNA-IRF1, interacted with G3BP1 and knockdown of lncRNA- IRF1 downregulated IGF -II and GAS5 RNA levels, implying that lncRNA-IRF1 may bridge the porcine innate immune response and the transcription of the cell proliferation related genes. 11th July at 14:00 Pathology Lecture Theatre, Tennis Court Road Light refreshments at 13:45 This talk is part of the Pathology Valedictory Seminars series.
