Jenny Molloy and Jim Haseloff, coordinators of the Biomaker Challenge, will give an informal talk about this fantastic opportunity for members of the Department to participate. The scheme provides a hardware kit and supplementary funding (up to £1000 total value) to prototype a sensor system for a biological system, with the aim of encouraging cross-disciplinary working. They will present examples prototypes that the challenge has inspired and one audience member will win a free Arduino.
