This talk has been canceled/deleted As a candidate for a quantum theory of gravity, String Theory should be able to provide a microscopic interpretation of the degeneracy associated with the entropy of a black hole. Interestingly enough, some of the features of this ‘quantum perspective’ might be captured by the classical Supergravity approximation, according to the fuzzball proposal. In this talk I would like to present general aspects of supersymmetric black holes and their microscopic interpretation in this context, with particular emphasis on theories of Supergravity coupled to Yang-Mills fields.
