With twenty years of experience in advocacy and policy focused on donors and the UN, he is currently Program Manager at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), having previously worked at Save the Children. Alex will tell us why he believes nutrition is one of the most promising areas to make an impact. GAIN is one of the most effective NGOs in the world, with its Universal Salt Iodization globally recognised as a world-leader. Alex will discuss his career, and give tips and advice to students with aspirations to work in the development/non-profit sectors, focussing on how they can build an effective career path in a highly competitive field.
