What IS the deal with meat? There’s been a lot of media attention around the impact of meat on our health and the environment. What are the facts? Cambridge Carbon Footprint invites festival goers to ‘What IS the deal with meat?’, a hot topic panel discussion and Q&A. Speakers, including leading figures on food sustainability Tara Garnett (founder of the Food Climate Research Network) and Clare Oxborrow (Head of the Land, Food and Water Team at FOE ) will discuss the health, welfare and environmental issues related to the our ever increasing consumption of meat. Are there solutions out there? What technologies, policies and behaviour change might help? Join us in the beautiful setting of ‘The Divinity School’ at St John’s to find out more.
