Thursday 3rd March, 6:30-7:00pm, N7 Lord Chris Smith: Public Policy and Arts and Culture Master of Pembroke, British politician, former Cabinet minister, former Chair of the Environment Agency and former Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, will be talking about current public policy and its relation to arts and culture in the UK. When he was Secretary of State for Culture, he reintroduced free admission to to galleries and museums. He has also been chairman of the Wordsworth Trust and chairman of the Donmar Warehouse Theatre.
