Catriona is a Cardiovascular Specialist Research Nurse and Senior Teaching Fellow at Imperial College, London. Her PhD research focused on concordance for health behaviours and cardiovascular risk factors between patients and family members. She was the European Research Nurse coordinator for EUROASPIRE III and IV, and continues to be active in cardiovascular prevention research and practice. Currently, Catriona is Chair of the European Society of Cardiology Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (CCNAP) and has served as President of the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care.
