This February, we will be organising a series of talks by Master Jue Yun from London Fo Guang Shan temple. The talks will be conducted in English and will be about basic Buddhist philosophy.

The event is free and open to all.

This is the first of a series of events happening on Saturdays, 3-5 pm. The Four Noble Truths form the basic ideas of Buddhism, which leads on to the Noble Eightfold Path and the more sophisticated issues in Buddhism.

The Noble Truths explores the nature of suffering, and points a way out of suffering. As the first of the teachings expounded by the historical Buddha, it is ideal for those seeking a basic grounding of Buddhist philosophy. Practicing Buddhists are also welcome to refresh their knowledge of Buddhism and gain new insights.

This talk is part of the Buddhist Society Talks series.
