If you have a question about this talk, please contact Matthew Ireland. With the recent reveal of the Oculus Rift, virtual reality has been a hot topic of conversation lately. Are head mounted displays the future of multimedia or they are not yet ready to take over the market? In the talk I will talk about the hardware and technical solutions of these displays as well as discuss the potential problems that might derail the rise of the technology. Last but not least we will examine the current market of these devices and decide when and who should invest into buying one. This talk is part of the Churchill CompSci Talks series.
