Abstract
Autism is a developmental disorder that affects social interaction. It is also associated with skills in perception and attention for details, technical problem solving and focussed concentration. This talk will evaluate how far the strengths of cognition relate causally to the difficulties experienced during social interactions at the level of psychological and neural mechanism.
