If you have a question about this talk, please contact Mustapha Amrani. Random Geometry Fixed out-degree orientations or $lpha$-orientations play a central rle in the so-called master bijections relating various families of planar maps to simple varieties of trees. I will discuss several known cases in which these orientations also provide purely combinatorial ways to compute geometric representations.
