Feminist theologian Dr Nicola Slee, Queen’s Foundation (Birmingham), will be in conversation reflecting on gender and faith. She will talk about prayer and spirituality, as well as theology, from a gendered perspective, as well as the place that poetry plays in her own faith and prayer. She’ll consider the interaction between feminism, poetry and theology in her own developing sense of self and faith. A poetry reading will form part of the talk. Emma Harris, Academic Co-ordinator at the Woolf Institute, Research Associate, St Edmund’s College will be the respondent to Dr Slee’s talk. A range of books by Dr Slee will be available for sale.
