The event will feature: Dr Sharon Saunders, Research Staff Development Consultant, PPD , will be sharing insights from her research project ‘Navigating the Career Hairpin’ which seeks to find out how researchers prepare for and deal with the significant career transition from being a postdoctoral researcher to achieving research independence by becoming a Principal Investigator. Dr Joy Warde, Postdoc Staff Coordinator, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, will provide an update on the recent progress with PdOC and the increasing numbers and roles of departmental postdoc societies.
