Jane Robinson is a writer and lecturer specialising in social history through women’s eyes. This illustrated talk is based on her book charting the fight for university education for women in England from 1869 to 1939. She relied on several library collections in Cambridge for her research, and last year a play based on the book was staged at the Globe in London and here at the Arts Theatre.
This talk is part of the Friends of Cambridge University Library series.
