Dr. Tuomas Knowles (group leader in the Chemistry Department) and Dr. Dandan Zhu (chief engineer at Plessey) will speak about recent advances in the field of nanotechnology. Dr. Knowles’ group works on protein aggregation and development of new dyes to study the underlying processes of protein misfolding using microfluidics.

Dr. Tom Badcock is a research scientist at Toshiba Cambridge Research Laboratory.
