Professor Steve Peters, author of ‘The Chimp Paradox’ talks about optimising performance, whether it is in the sporting arena, at work or at home, is to a large extent dependent on emotional skills. The mind can increase our chances of successes, however we define this. Professor Peters works with elite athletes, including Cycling Team GB in the 2012 Olympics, helping them to achieve the emotional skills that help people achieve their best. A drinks reception will follow.
