The Impact of Cambridge Social Science Research Workshop

This half day workshop is funded under the ESRC Pilot Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) at Cambridge The workshop has two purposes:
  • To reflect on the nature and measurement of Impact in the Humanities and Social Sciences. This will draw on recent research on measuring and capturing impact in these disciplines and the implications for developing and delivering impact
  • To showcase and derive lessons for good practice based on examples of delivering and measuring social sciences and humanities impact. The examples will be drawn from the recent REF submissions impact case exercise as well as examples arising from new projects funded under the Impact Fund element of the IAA account.

  • Dr Carenza Lewis, Director, Access Cambridge Archaeology, Department of Archaeology
  • Professor Simon Deakin, Faculty of Law, Director Centre for Business Research
  • Professor Christopher Colclough, Emeritus Professor, Faculty of Education
