For those that don’t know, Prof Scambler basically wrote the book on SCHI , as author of the definitive ‘Sociology as Applied to Medicine’. He will speaking to us about health and inequalities in the UK. This is one of Medsin’s most popular annual events, and is especially relevant for first year medics with those upcoming pesky SCHI exams. It’s not only a great revision session (and highly recommended by previous years) but a fantastic introduction to the Health Inequalities in the UK for anyone interested on the topic – you don’t have to be a medic!
