Monday, 12th May 2014 Advances in Cancer Screening and Prevention Research This event will discuss current research and clinical trials for the prevention of cancer, focussing on screening, early detection and chemoprevention. The meetings will be run in an informal setting with plenty of opportunity for networking and debate.
Tuesday, 13th May 2014 Cancer Biomarker Discovery and Assay Development Whilst numerous challenges exist in translating biomarker research into the clinical space; a number of gene and protein based biomarkers are already being used at some point in patient care. This event will discuss the further discovery and assay development of genetic, epigenetic, proteomic, glycomic, and imaging biomarkers which can be used for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and epidemiology.
