If you have a question about this talk, please contact Amir. I’m organising an informal OCaml meetup/hacking session for Friday 1st February. The idea is for anyone interested in OCaml, from novice to guru, to meetup and do some hacking with other people. Some of the folks attending include Anil, who’s writing a book about OCaml [1] and Thomas, author of a popular package manager (and currently visiting from France) [2]. They might even be persuaded to do some short talks earlier on. There will be nibbles and I’ll likely organise some pizza/food later on too (courtesy of OCaml Labs [3]). We’re lucky that we’ll be holding this event at Makespace, especially as it isn’t formally open yet. Makespace is place where members can work on physical projects and build things. This event is very much a trial for them so we should do the equivalent of buying them a pint to say thanks! I’ll have a donation tin at the event or you can donate directly via PayPal [4]. Average price of a pint is about £3, just so you know :) What: OCaml Meetup/Hacking session When: Friday 1st Feb, 6pm-9pm Where: Makespace (off Mill Lane) Register: http://bit.ly/13MKoRq
