Robert Chenciner has been a senior associate member of St Antony’s College Oxford since 1987 and an honorary member of the Soviet and then Russian Academy of Sciences since 1991, sponsored by the Daghestan Scientific Center.

He will also be talking about his new book a material-cultural memoir ‘Old Swedish padlock keyhole covers and other more interesting matters’ which is ready to print.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.
