If you have a question about this talk, please contact Edward Mather. Marianne Majerus is one of the world’s finest garden photographers. She is a regular contributor to many national and international publications. She is a member of the RHS Photographic Committee and of the Professional Garden Photographers Association. She has won numerous awards for her work: in 2011 she was announced ‘Garden Photographer of the Year’ by the British Garden Media Guild. In 2011 Marianne also won first prize in the ‘Garden Views’ category of the International Garden Photographer of the Year Award. In 2010 Marianne was named ‘International Garden Photographer of the Year’. Marianne has also illustrated over 200 books. Her most recent title with Françoise Maas, “Die geheimen Gärten Luxemburgs” won the 2011 Luxembourg Book Prize in the ‘Beaux Livres’ category. The same book was also a finalist in the 2011 Garden Media Guild ‘Book Photographer of the Year’ category. This talk is one of a programme of free events run by Lucy Cavendish College which are open to the public. However, places are limited so we advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.
