Each member of the panel served as British Ambassador in a different BRIC capital during the past decade, a period when these countries were emerging on to the world stage and becoming more conscious of their enhanced individual and collective status. They will discuss how the BRIC countries perceive themselves, each other and the outside world, and how the developed world can best engage with them.
