Very bad sets sets on which singular integrals are tame cannot be bad. They have to have the structure. This is the first topic in which we explain the solution of some old problems of Vitushkin, Denjoy, Painlev’e, David—Semmes.
The second lecture is mostly about probabilistic methods in taming the singular integrals in bad environment.
