If you have a question about this talk, please contact Tania Espinoza ate22. The ‘Love & Revolution’ Reading group will be meeting over the break. We will read Jacques Lacan’s Seventeenth Seminar: The Other Side of Psychoanalysis. This is the Seminar Lacan delivered in 1969-1970, in the aftermath of the events of 1968. It is here that he introduces the four discourses -of the hysteric, the master, the analyst, and the university. We will be discussing around 40 pages each time, for five consecutive Wednesdays, but anyone is welcome to come for any part of that period. The group is very diverse and we usually go for a drink after the meetings. The schedule of the reading is the following but please check the website for links to the text in French and English and in case there are any updates as we go along: http://loveandrevolution.wordpress.com 23 March, 5:30 Munby Room, King’s College Chapters I and II 30 March, 5:30 Munby Room, King’s College Chapters III , IV and V 6 April, 5:30 Rylands Room, King’s College Chapters VI and VII 13 April 5:30 Rylands Room, King’s College Chapters VIII , IX, X and XI 20 April, 5:30 Rylands Room, King’s College Chapters XII and XIII This talk is part of the 'Love and Revolution' reading group series.
