If you have a question about this talk, please contact Theo Markettos. Ely is a pretty market town founded as a monastery in AD673 and home to one of the finest medieval cathedrals in England which continues to be a living place of worship. We will visit (for free!) the Cathedral, including a tour giving some history and how the Cathedral continues to play a part in faith and worship today, and then attend Evensong. We’ll have lunch in Cambridge before catching the train, contact the organiser for time and place. This talk is part of the MethSoc: Cambridge Student Methodist Society series.
