Please meet CUTEC alumni and Dr Christopher Padfield; University of Cambridge Corporate Liaison Office, Founding Director Christopher Padfield joined the University to run technical and executive education, founding the Cambridge Programme for Industry in 1988, and played a significant part, alongside many others, in building bridges between the University and the entrepreneurial communities that were developing in and around Cambridge. He moved in 2000 to found the Corporate Liaison Office which concentrated on similar activities, but this time between the University and major research-intensive global companies. He has now retired from the University but retains a strong interest in fostering and facilitating entrepreneurship in and around Cambridge.
