Ewan Kirk runs Cantab Capital Partners (a $1bn Cambridge based systematic hedge fund) and was a Partner at Goldman Sachs from 1992 to 2006. He will talk about the 2008 financial crisis from the perspective of a participant in the financial markets. He will cover the reasons behind the crisis, the responses to the crisis and the potential future for the world economy and for the financial sector in general.
