Energy Landscapes of Variational Quantum Algorithms

We’ll discuss how we can utilize the basin-hopping approach to study the optimization landscapes of VQAs for hardware-efficient, UCC and QAOA ansätze. We’ll also mention some more recent work on quantum machine learning algorithms such as variational classifiers.
