Bridging Research & Policy: An Introduction to Centre for Science & Policy Speakers: Kavya Neeba and Nicola Buckley from the Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP), University of Cambridge The Centre for Science and Policy’s (CSaP) mission is to enhance public policy making by leveraging the use of research evidence and expertise more effectively. CSaP helps to foster strong networks between academics and policy makers to ensure academic research contributes to policy decisions and hence increase the impact of research. The aim of this talk is to familiarise the audience with different avenues for academic-policy engagement and learn how researchers can collaborate with CSaP to plan policy engagement activities, meet policy professionals and build policy engagement into grant applications.
