When ogre-king Kresna Denawa threatens to destroy the world of the gods, the young knight Raden Narayana is appointed as champion of the gods to defend the heavenly order. This traditional Javanese play is accompanied by gamelan music, and complete with songs, clowns, princes and princesses, battles, magical weapons, transformation, deceit… and a rather unusual elephant. The audience is encouraged to move around during the performance and can leave at any time. Booking advised to avoid disppointment.
