Britten Sinfonia and David Crystal, on Anniversaries – Thursday, 11 June 2009, from 6pm

University staff have been invited to a special performance by Britten Sinfonia and a lecture by world-renowned linguist and author David Crystal on the theme of “Anniversaries”. The event is part of a season that commemorates Cambridge University Press’s 425th anniversary, as it was in 1584 that the first book was printed in Cambridge by a practising University Printer.
