Professor Reetika Khera is a Development Economist with research interests in Indian social policy, health, education, poverty and welfare. In this talk Professor Khera will be discussing the impact of digital technologies on welfare mechanisms such as Aadhar. Dr. Khera will discuss how the program aimed to biometrically register India’s 1.3 billion residents in an even-handed, judicious way.
