If you have a question about this talk, please contact Camilla Penney. The objective of the Cambridge Disaster Research Network is to connect hazard and disaster research and researchers across disciplines, and to link academic approaches to the needs and experience of practitioners. This session will introduce the network and its motivations, and explore the need for multi-disciplinary approaches to understanding and preventing disasters. The session will also provide the audience with an opportunity to discuss what they would like to get out of the network and topics of interest for future talks.
