In this lunchtime talk three topics will be presented by professionals from Philips Incubators, the corporate venturing entity of Philips Electronics. 1) The philosophy behind Philips Incubators unique approach to open innovation. 2) Case Study – Direct Life Direct Life is an activity monitoring and coaching company and the product is an integration of Philips hardware and a service component. The business model deviates strongly from existing Philips businesses. First responses from the market have been highly enthusiastic, and an international roll-out is ongoing. Get yours soon! 3) Case Study – Relationship Care The Relationship Care products form a completely new category within the Philips portfolio. Although the basic concept of ergonomic massage implements is familiar, the marketing and distribution approach is completely new.
