The seminar will look to cover ethics and other considerations when starting a project within the NHS . It will cover topics such as; legal considerations, ethics considerations, research governance, consents, participants and many more. The session will provide helpful tips and points to consider when conducting projects. The second half of the session will look to cover medical devices and look at what is a medical device, approvals required for studies involving medical devices and who and how are they regulated. The session will also cover useful websites and resources that are available.
