Please register for this event to ensure we can book you in on the day ”Allocating places to over-subscribed schools by proximity means that some households have negligible chance of admission to the best schools” Join us on Tuesday 17 March for ‘School choice’ in England, fact or fiction: evidence from national administrative data, where Professor Vignoles will explore key trends in school choice and consider how the system operates for different families. The discussion will also address whether alternative admissions criteria, which reduce the importance of location, would change the patterns of choice and school outcomes that are evident in the data. About the seminar Join us for refreshments from 16:00 before the seminar begins at 16:30. After the seminar. there will be an opportunity for questions, followed by networking and a drinks reception.
