If you have a question about this talk, please contact Nathan Johnson-McDaniel. This talk has been canceled/deleted I will describe how signatures of modified gravity, in particular scalar tensor theories of gravity, can arise when studying black hole quasinormal modes. In particular I will look at black holes both with and without hair in Horndeski gravity, and discuss how we might constrain fundamental parameters of Horndeski theory through black hole spectroscopy. This talk is part of the DAMTP Friday GR Seminar series. This talk is included in these lists:This talk is not included in any other list Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
